Air Products and Chemicals Inc. is one of four Pennsylvania companies recently awarded nearly $2 million in Alternative Fuel Incentive Grants.
The grants, announced by the state Department of Environmental Protection earlier this month, will be used to help fund the recipients' alternative fuel technology projects, a news release says.
Headquartered in Upper Macungie Township, Air Products plans to use its $209,046 award to work on a hydrogen fuel technology that could improve the next generation of fuel cell vehicles, the release says.
