Brian Westbrook joins Comcast SportsNet's vast package of Eagles coverage

One thing about the Eagles. No one can say that you don't hear enough about them.
Perhaps no team in professional sports is as analyzed in its home market as much as the Philadelphia Eagles are, and Comcast SportsNet, among others, is promising wall-to-wall Eagles coverage all season long.
Comcast SportsNet, which is part of the NBC Sports Group, just added former Villanova and Eagles standout Brian Westbrook to its coverage team.

PHILADELPHIA- (September 3, 2013) – Comcast SportsNet, the cable home of the Philadelphia Eagles, announced that former Philadelphia Eagle Brian Westbrook is joining the network’s “Eagles Pregame Live,” “In-Game Live,” and “Eagles Postgame Live” programs for the 2013 football season. Westbrook will also contribute to “Eagles Extra,” “Philly Sports Talk,” and “Full Contact.”
Also new this season, “Eagles Pregame Live” will broadcast live from Xfinity! Live prior to every Eagles home game.
Westbrook spent eight seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles and was a two-time All Pro running back.  Westbrook is the franchise’s all-time leader in yards from scrimmage (9,785) and touches (1,734). He also ranks second in Philadelphia’s record books in rushing yards (5,995), while ranking third in total touchdowns (68), receptions (426), rushing touchdowns (37), rushing attempts (1,308) and rushing average (4.6 yards per carry). Westbrook also holds the Eagles all-time single-season records in both total yards from scrimmage (2,104 in 2007) and receptions (90 in 2007).
Throughout the season, Comcast SportsNet’s Eagles’ coverage will include daily reports with live player interviews, press conferences and practice highlights during every “Philly Sport Talk” at 5 p.m., “SportsNite” at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. and “SportsRise” every morning and at 1 a.m. Extensive stories, interviews and videos from the network’s Eagles Insider and columnists can be found on CSNPhilly.com. EAGLES PREGAME LIVE
Hosted by Michael Barkann, “Eagles Pregame Live presented by GEICO” features an entertaining and informative panel including NFL Hall of Fame writer Ray Didinger and former Philadelphia Eagle Brian Westbrook. Derrick Gunn and CSNPhilly.com’s Geoff Mosher will report from the field each week.  “Eagles Pregame Live” will broadcast live from Xfinity! Live in South Philadelphia one hour prior to every home game throughout the season. Fans can stop by to watch the program and pick up some fun giveaways.
EAGLES IN-GAME LIVE
A multifaceted second-screen experience, “In-Game Live” will be featured on CSNPhilly.com during each Eagles game. Viewers not only will have access to game statistics and play-by-play but also incoming tweets from Comcast SportsNet’s Insiders. Plus fans can watch quarterly live video reports during which Ray Didinger and Brian Westbrook will join host Michael Barkann and provide their opinions and analysis.
EAGLES POSTGAME LIVE
“Eagles Postgame Live presented by Cure Auto Insurance” provides Eagles fans with immediate reaction to all games through insightful analysis, lively debate, and player and coaches’ press conferences. “Eagles Postgame Live” features Michael Barkann, Brian Westbrook, Ray Didinger, former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell, Derrick Gunn and Geoff Mosher.
FULL CONTACT – ALL FOOTBALL EDITION
Our interactive debate show returns with all-football content featuring former Eagle and current 94WIP host Ike Reese and Brian Westbrook facing off against each other each Sunday at 6:30 p.m. Each week fans will pick the winner through social media.  Amy Fadool hosts “Full Contact” which debuts Sunday, September 15 at 6:30 p.m.
EAGLES EXTRA
Comcast SportsNet and the Eagles have partnered together to bring fans a weekly hard-hitting football show, “Eagles Extra presented by Acme.” This 30-minute program takes fans on a look back at the previous game and previews next week’s matchup. Host Ron Burke is joined by former Eagles Brian Westbrook and Brian Baldinger, along with Ray Didinger to break down the upcoming game. “Eagles Extra” will air on Comcast SportsNet every Monday at 6:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.
EAGLES LOCKER ROOM
Comcast SportsNet will air highlights from the Eagles’ Wednesday press conferences on “Eagles Locker Room.” Expected to speak each week are Chip Kelly and Michael Vick.  Hosted by Derrick Gunn, “Eagles Locker Room” will air on Comcast SportsNet every Wednesday at 11 p.m.
PHILLY SPORTS TALK
“Philly Sports Talk presented by Classic Nissan, features entertaining debate on the state of the Philadelphia Eagles with the help of former players, plus local and national football experts.  Regularly scheduled guests include: former Eagles Brian Westbrook and Ike Reese, NFL Insider Adam Caplan, PhiladelphiaEagles.com’s Dave Spadaro and CSNPhilly.com’s Geoff Mosher and Reuben Frank.

Comcast SportsNet will have wall to wall coverage of the Eagles opening game against the Washington Redskins.  Coverage kicks off at 5 p.m. with Philly Sports Talk and wraps up at 1 a.m. with “SportsRise.”  CSNPhilly.com will have exclusive content as well with stories from Reuben Frank, Geoff Mosher and John Gonzalez.
