Whitehall softball team opens up with a big win in Myrtle Beach

Got a report from Myrtle Beach where on Saturday morning the Whitehall softball team opened up season with an 11-1 win over Pascack Valley of New Jersey.

Pascack  --- 100 000 0 -- 1 2 5

Freshman pitcher Kay Solderitch went the distance for the win, striking out six and walking two.

According to Gamechanger, Courtney Dragovits knocked in three runs and Regan Bortz and Gabrielle Molitoris had two RBIs apiece.
