Our latest edition of The Morning Call's "Calling All Sports" TV show features a preview of Saturday's 145th meeting between Lehigh and Lafayette, 12:30 at Goodman Stadium.
Two great players and outstanding student-athletes, Lafayette's Rob Curley and Lehigh's Matt Cohen were our special guests and joined Lafayette beat writer Paul Reinhard and me on the show.
It's one of my favorite shows each and every year, spotlighting this game and the kids on both sides.
The show can be seen at 8 tonight (Monday) on Service Electric TV2 and at 6 p.m. Tuesday for RCN4 viewers.
And speaking of Service Electric, you might have read my column on Friday morning about the parking spot I had behind the SECTV2 studios last week. It would have been a great spot were it not for the birds hanging out above it who decided to use my Honda for target practice.
Well, you never would have guessed who made sure I had a better parking spot -- bird-free no less -- today when I pulled up for the show.
It was Mike Zambelli himself, who came down from his office to make sure I had a great spot; a spot that was actually bird-free and more importantly bird-poop free.
I have to thank Mike for letting met get that spot, a most pleasant surprise.
