The Whitehall High School football team is headed to Florida in August for a scrimmage against a top-rated team from the Sunshine State.
The Zephyrs' JV and varsity teams will play a pre-season "scrimmage" game in Haines City, Florida (Polk County) on Aug. 21. The trip will be for three nights and four days, Wednesday, August 20th through Saturday, August 23rd.
Haines City High School, a 7A program features Derwin James, who is the No. 1 ranked safety accoring to ESPN, Rivals and other recruiting services. James is headed to Florida State.
The Whitehall booster club, players and coaches are actively working to raise the funds needed for the trip. They will host a golf tournament on Saturday), a flag football tournament on Saturday, June 7th), a 5K race (July 26th) and the slow pitch Softball tournament (July 26th).

The tournament will be hosted and run by the Whitehall Zephyr Football Coaching Staff. All proceeds will go directly towards the Whitehall High School football team.
