Bill Slim, of Nazareth, is Lehigh Valley IronPigs' 2-millionth fan

FROM THE EXPRESS TIMES

Today, Bill Slim came to his first Lehigh Valley IronPigs game of the season.

Smart choice.

During the third inning, the Nazareth resident was chosen at random as the franchise's 2-millionth fan, winning a plethora of prizes.

Those prizes include: a pair of season tickets for the remainder of the 2011 home season, a special jersey, a team autographed baseball and all promotional giveaways from this year.

Slim also received items including 2 million sips of Coca-Cola (two cases), 2 million Mike & Ike's (four cases), 2 million swings at Bethlehem Golf Club and 2 million Martins potato chips.

The IronPigs, who led the International League in attendance in 2010, average 8,041 fans per game so far this season, ranking second in the league.
