Lehigh University women's basketball team beats Lafayette in Patriot League tournament quarterfinals

The Lehigh University women's basketball team won its 10th straight game, beating rival Lafayette College, 82-58, this evening at Stabler Arena in the Patriot League quarterfinals.

Lehigh senior guard Erica Prosser, the league's first player to win Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year in the same season, had 17 points. Senior forward Courtney Dentler added 16 for the Mountain Hawks (21-9).

Second-seeded Lehigh hosts No. 3 American in the semifinals Wednesday. The Eagles beat Holy Cross 72-44 earlier today.

Junior forward Alexa Williams tied a career high with 17 points and had 10 rebounds for defending league champion Lehigh.

Senior guard LaKeisha Wright scored a team-high 16 points with eight rebounds for the Leopards (11-19), while senior forward Elizabeth Virgin added 14 points and eight rebounds.
