Borough Park Improvements
The Express-Times reports that Nazareth Borough will use a combination of borough funds and grant money to update the pool filtration system and the cabin at the Borough Park. Both were built in the 30’s/40’s and are used throughout the summer.
The pool has been the subject of some discussion as attendance is down, probably due to a larger number of home owners in the area now having backyard pools coupled with competing demands on individuals’ time. Last year a change to the fee structure boosted attendance by leveling the amount paid by residents and non-residents.
