SIX SATURDAY NIGHT NASCAR EVENTS AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY TO BE TELEVISED

BECHTELSVILLE, PA  For the 13th straight season RCN-TV will carry several stock car racing events tape delayed from NASCAR sanctioned Grandview Speedway.
Kicking off the TV schedule will be the Twin-35s for the NASCAR 358 Modifieds on Saturday, April 13th. That tripleheader show, starting at 7 p.m., will also feature the Sportsman and Late Model stock cars. Each of the 35-lap features for the Modifieds will pay $3,000.
Other events on the schedule include:
Saturday, May 11, Modifieds, Sportsman and Late Models
Saturday, June 22, Bashore Trucking/BPF Specialty Night featuring a 40-lap feature for the Sportsman plus racing for the 358 Modifieds and Late Models
Saturday, July 6, Baro Trucking Firecracker 40 for Late Models, Fireworks and NASCAR 358 Modifieds and Sportsman
Saturday, July 20, Hatfield Quality Meats Night featuring the 358 Modifieds, Late Models and Sportsman
Saturday, August 10, Forrest Rogers Memorial presented by Pioneer Pole Buildings for 358 Modifieds (50 laps), Sportsman and Late Models
The races will be shown in a pair of two-hour programs shown on the Tuesday and Friday nights following the actual race dates. All the qualifying will be carried in the first two-hour program while the second two-hour program will include feature race events.
Also included in the TV coverage is driver interviews, up to date news, points, race team information and more. The shows can also be seen on Video on Demand at any time. You must be a subscriber to RCN-TV in order to view the coverage. 
“This is great exposure for our racing events and gives the racers the opportunity to gain a huge amount of exposure for their sponsors,” said track operator Bruce Rogers. “The televised events also give us the opportunity to reach out to people who are not currently fans and give them a chance to see what great excitement is generated by stock car racing at Grandview Speedway. And viewers will get to see all three divisions of competition.”
Well known motorsports journalist Randy Kane and popular photographer/personality Mike Feltenberger will be in the broadcast booth.
The 2013 season at Grandview Speedway, the 51st, will kick off with a free-to-the-public practice session on Saturday, March 30th at noon. The practice sessions are open to all divisions of racing.
