For the eight teams competing for District 11 girls basketball championships over the next two days, at least one more game awaits them.
All eight teams will advance to the PIAA playoffs, which open Friday, March 8 with games in Class 4A and 2A. So will the winner of the one girls elimination game scheduled for the next two days, the Parkland-Bangor consolation game in 4A.
Here's a look at how the District 11 teams will feed into the state playoffs.
Class 4A
The winner of the District 11 final between Nazareth and Pocono Mountain West will play District 1's No. 8 seed. That will be the loser of a Pennsbury-Boyertown matchup.
The Nazareth-Pocono Mountain West loser will face District 1's No. 6 seed. That will be the loser of a Central Bucks West-North Penn game.
The Parkland-Bangor winner will face the District 2 champion. Wyoming Valley West and Wallenpaupack will play for the District 2 title Friday night at 8 p.m.
