Lehigh's Lum repeats as Patriot League offensive player of week; Lehigh now 26th in the country

FROM KEITH GROLLER

Lehigh's junior quarterback Chris Lum won the Patriot League's Offensive Player of the Week award for the second straight week.

Lum was impressive in Lehigh's 34-17 win over Holy Cross.

Here are the details from the Patriot League release:

Chris Lum, QB, Lehigh Jr., 6-2, 205 (Lake Orion, Mich./Lake Orion) Lum receives his second consecutive Offensive Player of the Week award after leading Lehigh to at least a share of the Patriot League title with a 34-17 win at Holy Cross on Saturday. He completed 21-of-33 passes for 212 yards and three touchdowns and also led the Mountain Hawks with 64 rushing yards in the game. Lum threw one touchdown pass in each of the first three quarters as the Mountain Hawks built a 21-3 lead. The 64 rushing yards marked a career high. Lum has completed 62 percent of his passes with 12 touchdowns and two interceptions during Lehigh's five-game winning streak, which has the Mountain Hawks one win away from their first outright Patriot League title since 2001 and first playoff bid since 2004.

Also, Lehigh is now up to 26th in one national poll, just failing to crack the top 25.
