Dave Duke arrived on South Mountain as a member of Fran McCaffery's Lehigh men's basketball coaching staff in 1985 with a bachelor's degree from Villanova University and Ph.D. in Philly hoops.
An All-Delaware County player while averaging 15.2 points per game as a senior at Clifton Heights High School, Duke spent his free time watching Big 5 basketball in the storied Palestra.
