Nazareth woman waives preliminary hearing on gun charge

Kristen Mertz, 25, waived her right to a preliminary hearing today before District Judge John Capobianco. Mertz, who is charged with violating firearm ownership laws, was arraigned last month and sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of posting $35,000 bail.
