FROM KEITH GROLLER
I wasn't there, but got a text from coach Kyle Beller soon after the final whistle.
Dieruff ended a 38-game losing streak by beating Allen 10-7 today at J. Birney Crum Stadium.
Dieruff had not won a game since beating Allen at the end of the 2008 season.
Must have been a great feeling for those Huskies who have been on the tough end of some lopsided losses this season, and those seniors have suffered through four years worth of one-sided defeats.
Here's the scoring summary and stats courtesy of Dieruff stat man Rick Schmidt.
