Catasauqua advances by beating the Bulldogs

Burton and the Roughies weren’t going to be denied tonight. Burton started off his team’s scoring halfway through the first quarter with a 19 yard run. Burton has 1,375 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns so far this season. Catasauqua recovered a Bulldog fumble on the kickoff, and the Roughies were in business again. This time, quarterback Zach Bradley tossed a 26 yard pass to Alex Parker, and it was 14-0 Rough Riders. Zach Bradley ended his evening – 9 for 15, 157 yard and 3 TDs, continuing his great season. Overall, he’s thrown for 1.835 yards, 28 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. Alex Parker was not be outdone in the game scoring 3 touchdowns of his own. He rushed for 1 TD and caught two more. Bulldogs were unable to finish off drives, where the Roughies stopped them on a 4th and 1 from the Catasauqua 29 with 3 minutes left in the third quarter. Bulldogs quarterback Danny Marsh completed 5 out of 8 passes for 75 yards in the game, with a TD. He also lead his team in receiving for the game with 50 yards on 19 totes. Northern Lehigh finishes their season at 7-4.
