World Series Game One Wins Night For Fox, But Numbers Down from 2011- Game one of the World Series gave Fox Sports a rating of 7.6 with an audience of 12.2 million viewers, winning the night for the network. The rating, however, was below the 2011 Fall Classic opener between the Rangers and Cardinals, which registered a rating of 8.7.
College GameDay Going to Norman for Notre Dame/Oklahoma- The ESPN College GameDay crew heads to Norman, OK in preparation for Saturday night’s ABC match-up between Notre Dame and Oklahoma. College GameDay will air live at 9 a.m. on ESPNU and 10 a.m. on ESPN with host Chris Fowler, analysts Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and David Pollack, and host/reporter Samantha Steele and Tom Rinaldi. Brent Musburger and Herbstreit will call the game with sideline reporter Heather Cox.
College Football Triple Header on CBS Sports Network- The CBS Sports Network will produce three college football games this Saturday. The action begins at 12:00p.m. ET as Ball State takes on Army. Ben Holden, Randy Cross and guest sideline reporter Cadet Geoff Easteling have the call. At 3:30p.m. ET as Boise State travels to Wyoming with James Bates, Todd Christensen and Lauren Gardner at the mic. The finale at 8:00p.m. ET has Dave Ryan, Corey Chavous and reporter Evan Washburn calling UCF at Marshall.
ESPN2 has a Soccer Double Header Sunday- ESPN2 has Barclays Premier League and MLS this Sunday. At 9:25 a.m. ET Ian Darke and Steve McManaman will call Everton and Liverpool. Adrian Healey, Taylor Twellman and Alexi Lalas will provide commentary of the MLS contest between the Seattle Sounders at Los Angeles Galaxy beginning at 9:00p.m. ET.
ESPN/ESPN2 have Final Table of World Series of Poker- Beginning next Monday ESPN will have delayed live coverage of the final table of the Main Event at the World Series of Poker. Lon McEachern and analyst Norman Chad have coverage Monday at 8:00p.m. on ESPN2 and Tuesday at 9:00p.m. on ESPN.
