ESPN Films’ Documentary on Sylvester Croom to Debut September 25th- ESPN Films has announced that its next SEC “Storied” documentary will look at the story of Sylvester Croom and his rise as the first African-American head football coach in the SEC. The story of the former Mississippi State football coach will debut on ESPNU September 25th at 7:00p.m. ET.
Giants/Dodgers on NBCSN’s Caught Looking- This week’s edition of the behind-the-scenes baseball program Caught Looking will feature last weekend’s series between the San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers. Caught Looking premiere’s tomorrow at 9:00p.m. ET on the NBC Sports Network (NBCSN).
Soccer on NBC Sports- NBC Sports plans to televise a pair of MLS soccer matches as well as a U.S. Women’s team friendly this weekend. NBC Sports Network begins coverage Friday night at 8:30p.m. ET as the Houston Dyanamo travel to take on Sporting Kansas City. J.P. Dellacamera, Brian Dunseth and Rob Simmelkjaer will call the match. Saturday at 3:30p.m. ET NBC will provide coverage of the Seattle Sounders at the Portland Timbers with Arlo White, Kyle Martino, and Russ Thaler on site. That trio will be joined by Kate Markgraf Sunday at 12:30p.m. ET as the U.S. Women’s team takes on Australia in a friendly in California.
