Pius X High School wide receiver Matt Camilletti participating in Chesapeake Bowl

FROM THE EXPRESS TIMES

Pius X High School senior wide receiver Matt Camilletti will be participating in the 2011 Chesapeake Bowl on Dec. 30 at South River High School in Edgewater, Md.

The senior-only all-star game pits student-athletes from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware (North) against the South (Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington D.C.).

Camilletti leaves Pius X as the school's all-time leader in receptions (183) and yards (2,642) and ranks second all-time in District 11 in both categories.

The two-time All-American League first teamer had 783 yards and seven TDs on 58 catches this fall as the Royals won their second-straight league title and clinched the District 11 Class A crown.

Camilletti, also the team's kicker who went 41-for-58 on PATs, caught six two-point conversions this fall as well.

He was named to The Express-Times All-Area first team as a junior after hauling in 53 catches for 932 yards and 10 scores.
