Kevin Ronalds has been selected to fill the football coaching vacancy at Palisades High School, according to a news release.
Ronalds worked as defensive coordinator at Palisades under former coach Brian Gilbert (2007-2009). During his tenure, the Pirates made four straight appearances in the District 11 playoffs, earning two district titles in addition to a Colonial League championship.
"I have missed coaching the players at Palisades," said Ronalds, who is a social studies teacher at the high school, in the release. "I am also excited to be working once again with the coaching staff that I had worked with previously and look forward to bringing a winning record back to our school and our community."
Palisades went 1-9 last season under Jim Brady.
