Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem again tops state in table games take

Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem once again has topped the state in table games revenue and almost met its record-setting amount.

The casino in October earned $10.76 million off of its table games, nearly matching its $10.78 million take from August that set a state record, according to figures released today from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

After falling behind table games giant Parx Casino in lower Bucks County for a month, Sands once again earned more off its table games than the state’s nine other casinos. Parx and Sands have the most table games in the state, with 183 and 129, respectively, with Harrah’s Chester is third with 121.

Table games revenue are taxed at 16 percent. Sands in October earned $21.77 million off its slots, an amount that is taxed at 55 percent.
