Big Week!

Today, handing out Tickets at Nazareth High School 9am-11am!

I Think Dorney Park Tickets! Excited to see my High School Friends!!!

Hopefully a start to many activities at the High School even if it it just
volunteer!

It would be great to work at Nazareth because I Only live 2 minutes away.

I Could walk there on my own if i have to!

Don't even need a bus if I Would get to do more things for Nazareth!

Getting a ID Tag today so I Feel like a real employee and so at sports events
people from other schools know I am working and not somebody just sitting there!

Tuesday going to Good Shephard to get fitted for a new Wheelchair!

One that stands up!

That will be awesome!

Thursday at 2pm calling out Bingo at Moravian Hall Square!

Nazareth Baseball at the Park at 4pm Tuesday, Thursday and Friday!

it was a long week with back to back night baseball games and Special Olympics,

LV Arts Council: Community Arts Grants Workshop
Thursday, May 12, 2011 | 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.

The Lehigh Valley Arts Council invites individuals, along with arts organizations and community groups, to apply for up to $3,000 in PA Partners in the Arts (PPA) 2011-12 Project Stream funding, which supports arts projects or activities taking place in Carbon, Lehigh and Northampton counties.

The PPA program is a partnership initiative of the PA Council on the Arts, and is administered in this region by the Lehigh Valley Arts Council.

Eligibility of individual artists (over the age of eighteen) to apply for PPA Project Stream grant funding widens the circle of funding opportunities in support of arts activities and projects benefiting the Lehigh Valley. Applicants do not have to have nonprofit status with the IRS, but the project cannot be for-profit. Projects must take place between September 1, 2011 and August 31, 2012.
The 2011-12 Project Stream Grant Guidelines and Application will be available early April on the Lehigh Valley Arts Council website at lvartscouncil.org/programs. The submission deadline is June 17, 2011.

Two informational workshops will be held in the spring to further explain the PPA program requirements and restrictions. All workshops will last from 4:00-5:30 PM, are open to the public and are free of charge. Prior grant award winners are also strongly encouraged to attend to discuss strategies for improving grant writing and online submission.

Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Relief Fundraiser featuring Trevor Gordon Hall
Saturday May 14, 2011 | 7:30 - 9:00 p.m.

The Lehigh Valley's Japanese Community will conduct its fundraiser for the Japanese Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund at the Nazareth Center for the Arts.

A massive 9.0 Magnitude earthquake and tsunami hit northeast Japan on March 11, 2011 and the total death and missing are over 27,000 people. "More than one month has passed since the terrible earthquake and tsunami, but 138,000 people are still staying in the shelters and they are still in need of water, food, and medication," said Atsuko Widodo, who has relatives in Sendai, Miyagi prefecture which was affected by the tsunami.

You can help people affected by disasters like the Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami as well as countless crises at home and around the world, by making a donation to support American Red Cross Disaster Relief. Your gift enables the Red Cross to prepare for and provide shelter, food, emotional support and other assistance in response to disasters

In addition to the music, artwork by Raffaele DePamphilis will be on display and each attendee will receive paper "origami" in thanks for their support. Shelley Goldberg's Foundation Peace will have bracelets available to those making a donation in excess of the $10.00 ticket.


Trevor is an ideal performer for this event as his instrumental pieces are innovative and inspirational. The venue will be set-up to accommodate 60 people for this show. Trevor has performed at the Center several times since its opening. http://www.trevorgordonhall.com/
