AIDSNET, Bethlehem, is recruiting community members to join its board meetings every other month on the first Wednesday at 5 p.m. AIDSNET builds healthier communities by planning and funding HIV/AIDS care and prevention services in Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton and Schuylkill counties. GRACEDALE NURSING HOME, Nazareth is seeking volunteers to help transport residents to in-house therapies and activities. Flexible hours are available full or half days, 9 am. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Contact: JoLynn Claroni, 610-746-5248.

HORSES AND HORIZONS THERAPEUTIC LEARNING CENTER, New Ringgold is looking for mature, reliable volunteers to be horse leaders and side walkers during weekly therapeutic riding lessons, 5-8 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. SENIOR CORPS RSVP an organization for those ages 55 and older is looking for volunteers to help the elderly and disabled. If you can: provide a ride; deliver meals; make a friendly visit; do light housework; grocery shop; make regular phone calls; help with yard work; do minor home repairs; assist with paperwork; read to someone, or provide respite care for a caregiver, call 610-391-825 7.

THE CRAYOLA FACTORY AT TWO RIVERS LANDING is looking for visitor services volunteers to welcome guests to the facility and activity assistants to help facilitate the Crayola Factory projects, activities and programs. THE GRESS MOUNTAIN RANCH, Orefield, needs volunteers to help feed, water and take care of their therapy animals. Volunteers are also needed for daily ground maintenance. VOLUNTEER CENTER OF THE LEHIGH VALLEY is hosting a cleanup at Sand Island in Bethlehem 9 a.m. to noon April 16. Equipment will be provided to clean the trails and to work in the native plant preserve. Volunteers must be 12 years or older and those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
