Friday's IronPigs-Yankees Game Postponed

Friday night's game between the Lehigh Valley IronPigs and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees at Coca-Cola Park was postponed due to inclement weather. The contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Monday, April 18 at 6:05 p.m. Each of the doubleheader games are scheduled for seven innings and only one ticket is needed to attend both games. Tonight's Friday Night Fireworks show presented by Lehigh Valley Center for Sight will be rescheduled for a future date.

Due to the postponement, fans holding tickets to Friday's game can exchange each ticket for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining 2011 home game. All ticket exchanges must be made in-person at the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office (no phone or internet exchanges). Ticket exchanges are subject to availability. Those holding tickets for tonight's game will be issued a parking pass upon exchanging their rain-out tickets for a future game.

The IronPigs continue their homestand on Saturday as the IronPigs welcome the Syracuse Chiefs to Coca-Cola Park for the first of a four-game set at 6:35 p.m. The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a 2011 Magnet Schedule courtesy of East Stroudsburg University. Also, fans definitely won't want to miss the first appearance of the season by the World Famous Phillie Phanatic presented by Susan Bella Jewelry.

The AT&T Plaza gate will open early on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. for the first, hour-long Saturday Night Happy Hour Concert Series of the season. Come hungry and thirsty and enjoy $1 hot dogs (from vendors only) and $3 Bud and Bud Light Drafts while listening to live music from Shake, Rattle & Pork Roll and watching batting practice from the AT&T Plaza.

All Saturday home games at Coca-Cola Park have a 6:35 p.m. start time and Club Gates will open for Club Level patrons beginning at 5 p.m.

The IronPigs defeated the Yankees, 7-2, in the regular season opener for both teams on Thursday to move over .500 for the first time in team history.

Fans are reminded that there are three entry points for parking and are encouraged to use the Dauphin Street entrance when traveling from downtown Allentown. In addition to the Dauphin Street entrance, entry to Coca-Cola Park can be gained off American Parkway and Union Boulevard. Preferred/Handicapped Parking access is available via American Parkway only.

The cost of parking in Coca-Cola Park's brand-new "Pig Tail Porking Spaces" is $3 per vehicle for all IronPigs home games.

Single-game tickets, mini-plan packages and group tickets for all IronPigs home games presented by Capital BlueCross, are on sale now and can be purchased at the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office, online at www.ironpigsbaseball.com or by calling (610) 841-PIGS.

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs are dedicated to providing family-friendly entertainment and are the only Minor League team to offer bubbles to fans entering the AT&T Plaza and balloons for all children exiting Coca-Cola Park.
