The Pottstown Baby Steelers forced a decisive game fifteen in the 2010 PA Junior Legion State Championship Tournament this afternoon by defeating the previously unbeaten Swoyersville 6-5.
Things were tight in the final for the first three innings, before Swoyersville rallied for eight runs in the fourth, putting the game away. The final score was 15-8.
Congratulations to Swoyersville on an incredible season! We'll see how this translates to senior legion in a few years, when Swoyersville should be a force to be reckoned with in the Wyoming Valley League.
