The Nazareth Area High School team was one-and-done in the Blue Eagles first-ever trip to the PIAA playoffs thanks to a 20-5 loss to Downingtown East at Emmaus High School.
Nazareth (21-2) started the season with a loss and won 21 straight before Tuesday evening's defeat to the fifth seed out of District 1.
The Blue Eagles were District 11 champions.
Downingtown East (18-5) plays the winner of Radnor and North Penn in the quarterfinals on Saturday.
Senior Christine Stevenson and sophomore Haley Nelson led the Cougars with five goals apiece.
Seniors Alex Edwards and Lindsay Whipple each scored twice for Nazareth.
