"Calling All Sports" to be seen Thursday and Friday nights on Service Electric

Because the District 11 boys tennis championships ran long on Monday, Service Electric TV2 did not show The Morning Call's "Calling All Sports" as scheduled at 5:30.

So, SECTV was kind enough to re-slot it for Thursday night at 5:30 and again Friday at 5:30.

If you like local football, you'll like this show.

The spotlight is on Friday night's 29th induction ceremony of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Lehigh Valley Chapter Hall of Fame.

The event unfolds at Northampton's Community Center and this year's inductees include the late Mike Bundra, George Atiyeh, Lamont "Mike" Ebbert, Gerry Farkas, Nate Hobgood-Chittick and Scott Saylor.

Panelists Keith Newhard, Tony Cocca and Evan Burian talk about this year's excellent class of inductees, the local chapter's history of promoting local high school football, and much more, during the show.

You'll also see the latest Rothrock Athlete of the Week.

The show is also available on RCN4 tonight at its regularly scheduled time of 6 p.m.
