Larry Brown potentially being on the move again is not really news. The Charlotte Bobcats coach has been a nomad all his life.

But his latest destination should raise the attention of 76ers fans. Brown, according to Peter Vecsey of the New York Post, has been cleared by Bobcats owner Michael Jordan to return to Philadelphia just as soon as this season ends.

Whether Brown actually will return is not known. But his arrival would be viewed by most as a refreshing change to the disaster of a franchise the Sixers have become since his departure in 2003.

Brown, who's already coached nine NBA teams, did spend longer -- five full seasons -- in Philadelphia than anywhere else and still maintains a home in the area where his wife and children live.
