Live Games, Pre- and Postgame Programs and Online Exclusives Highlight Playoff Coverage



Flyers-Rangers Game Delivers Highest Regular Season Rating Since 2002



PHILADELPHIA (April 12, 2010) – Comcast SportsNet, the leader in local sports news, will have extended coverage of the Philadelphia Flyers on their quest for the 2010 Stanley Cup both on air and online at CSNPhilly.com. All Flyers first round playoff games will be broadcast on Comcast SportsNet and are available in high definition.



Yesterday’s game, pitting the Flyers against the Rangers for a playoff spot, delivered a 3.6 rating (107,000 Households) making it the most-watched regular season Flyers game on Comcast SportsNet since the Flyers defeated the Buffalo Sabres on October 22, 2002. That game delivered a 3.7 rating. The Flyers-Rangers game peaked at a 5.9 rating (176,000 HHs) at 5:30 p.m. Fans also tuned in after the game, with Flyers Postgame Live delivering a 2.2 rating (65,000 HHs).



Throughout the playoffs, CSNPhilly.com will have game previews, post-game recaps and feature stories from Flyers Insider Tim Panaccio, plus player and coaches’ video exclusives, live chats and much more.



The Ultimate Goal

Throughout the playoffs, Comcast SportsNet will air Flyers specials beginning on Tuesday, April 13 at 6:30 p.m. with The Ultimate Goal. The first show previews the Flyers first round match-up against the New Jersey Devils. Host Michael Barkann will be joined by hockey experts including Bill Clement, Al Morganti, Steve Coates and Keith Jones.



The Ultimate Goal will air Tuesday, April 13 at 6:30 p.m. New shows will air on Thursday, April 15 at 10:30 p.m.; Saturday, April 17 at 10:30 p.m.; Monday, April 19 at 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.; Wednesday, April 21 at 10:30; Friday, April 23 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, April 24 at 7 p.m. and Monday, April 26 at 6:30 p.m.



Live Game Coverage

Comcast SportsNet will air all Flyers games during the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Comcast SportsNet will also air Flyers Pregame Live and Flyers Postgame Live for all games. All Flyers first round playoff games will be replayed on Comcast SportsNet the following day at 1:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. except Game Two which will replay at 1:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 17.
