SPORTS SHOWS ON MONDAY

By Keith Groller of the Morning Call,

Former Morning Call writer, sports editor and columnist Paul Reinhard and Phillies beat writer Mandy Housenick will be the guests on this week's edition of The Morning Call's "Calling All Sports."

Paul is still active for us in retirement, freelancing as our Lafayette football beat writer.

We'll be talking Phillies baseball, Leopards football and a smattering of other topics.

We'll also reveal the National Football Foundation/College Hall of Fame Lehigh Valley Chapter Football Player of the Week.

The show can be seen at 8 tonight on Service Electric TV2 and at 6 p.m. tomorrow on RCN4.

By the way, we're honoring two NFF/College Hall of Fame players of the week each weekend, one on the Saturday morning radio show and the other on TV.

The radio show selection this week was Brandon Lesko of Catty.

So far, our honorees have been:

TV

Sept. 14: Darrius Webb, Freedom.

Radio

Sept. 12: Dan Wilk, Nazareth.

Sept. 19: Brandon Lesko, Catasauqua.

At 8:30 tonight on Channel 69, the Lehigh Sports Magazine will have several different interviews.

Lehigh tennis coach Dave Shook and sophomore Liz Piscitelli about their fall opener at Cornell over the weekend. Second year women's lacrosse coach Jill Redfern and senior Inneke Carmola will take a look ahead to next spring's season.

And fresh off their bye week, Lehigh football coach Andy Coen and star defensive lineman B.J. Benning talk about this Saturday's game against Princeton, the first of four consecutive home games for the Mountain Hawks at Goodman Stadium
