The ABC Television Network has issued early pick-up orders for the following series for the 2016/2017 season: America's
Funniest Home Videos, The Bachelor, black-ish, Dancing with the Stars,
Fresh Off the Boat, The Goldbergs, Grey's Anatomy, How to Get Away with
Murder, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Middle, Modern Family, Once
Upon a Time, Scandal, Shark Tank and freshman drama Quantico. ABC has not announced a decision yet on veterans Castle, Nashville and Last Man Standing, but it is likely a few or even all three will return in 2016-17. Quantico was the only current freshman series to get an early pick-up, so no word yet on series like Dr. Ken, Galavant, Agent Carter, American Crime and The Muppets. Stay tuned in the coming months when ABC announces its 2016-17 line-up during the upfront in May.
