FROM THE EXPRESS TIMES
The Nazareth Area School Board elected Lorin Bradley as its president Monday night during a reorganization meeting.
Bradley replaces board member Linda McDonald in the leadership position.
The vote was 5 to 4 in his favor, which was the same vote last year that put McDonald in the top seat rather than Bradley, district Superintendent Victor Lesky said today.
"I think both are capable, professional people," Lesky said in reference to Bradley and McDonald. "No one has requested any changes yet (in the district)."
Maurice Heller retains his vice presidency, also on a 5-4 vote over Jim Treon, Lesky said.
