Subject: OVR pre application

Good morning Andrew

My name is Howard and I am a supervisor here at OVR in Allentown.  I see that you recently completed an online pre application for services.  I am writing as I am screening applications.  We are a bit short staffed at the moment and we have a number of caseloads that do not have a counselors at this time.  This issue has very much impacted Northampton County in particular, so it may take some time before you can be assigned to a counselor.  Be assured we are actively trying to fill the vacant positions.  In the interim counselors have agreed to work overtime to cover vacant caseloads such as the one for Easton, but availability is limited for now.

If you could possibly answer a few questions, It will help me prioritize cases that need to be assigned.
  1. I see you are currently working.  How many hours per week?
  2. Is this paid work or volunteer?
  3. Are you seeking different employment, more hours or higher pay?
  4. Are you experiencing any difficulty with you current employment and/or are at risk of losing your job due to your disability?
  5. What service or services are you requesting at this time?

Thank you for responding to my questions.  I look forward to hearing from you.
