It's that time again -- the TCA Press Tour! This time it's the summer
edition and cable is up first for the new few days through the end of
the week. Comedy Central had a slew of announcements. The Daily Show with Trevor Noah
is taking the show on the road to Chicago for a special week of shows
called, "The Daily Show Undesked Chicago 2017: Let's Do This Before It
Gets Too Damn Cold." The late night series will telecast from the
Athenaeum Theatre from Monday, October 16 through Thursday, October 19
nightly at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central. Comedy Central's new
late-night talk series helmed by Jordan Klepper will be titled The Opposition with Jordan Klepper and premiere September 25 at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT following The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. Comedy Central has extended the first season of the new late night series The Jim Jefferies Show
and ordered 10 additional episodes. The series, which features the
Australian comedian's unapologetic, honest and international approach to
culture and politics, is currently in the midst of its initial run,
which will see original episodes through August 15. After a brief
hiatus, new episodes from this extension will begin on Tuesday,
September 19 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT, following the fall season premiere of Tosh.0.
