NAZARETH HIGH SCHOOL
“A Night of Memories”

The Nazareth Wrestling Team is proud to announce that this Saturday, January 23, 2016, they will be hosting a premier event titled “A Night of Memories”.     

If you’re a Nazareth community member who has not been back to the High School in years or even decades this may be a night for you to stroll down “Memory Lane”.  You are encouraged to congregate in the lobby to view the memorabilia from decades past.

We welcome you, your family and friends to join us in remembering the past while rekindling friendships.

Nazareth will host Paramus High School, (19^th Ranked Team in New Jersey) coached by Wilson High School Graduate and Pennsylvania State Runner-Up Steve Klass.  This event will pit some of the best talent that the state of New Jersey has to offer in a head-to-head battle for supremacy of each weight class against Nazareth.  In 2015, Mr. Klass was named The Record Wrestling Coach of the Year for the second time in his nine years at Paramus.  (The Record is a newspaper in northern New Jersey)

This night is dedicated to remembering past and present emotions, as we honor the 2006 State Individual Tournament Championship Wrestling Team.  Five of Coach Crowell’s teams at Nazareth have been ranked nationally with the 2006-07 team ranked as high as fourth in the USA.

5:30pm – “Memory Lane” Opens

6:45pm – Honoring the 2006 Nazareth High School Wrestling Team

7:00pm – High School Wrestling Match (Nazareth, PA vs Paramus, NJ)

We want to extend an open invitation to have you bring and display your personal memorabilia.  

Celebrate by reliving your high school glory days. We'll make you feel like you're living a teenage dream all over again.   Jocks, cheerleaders, nerds, thespians and foreign exchange students welcome!

We all have that one space in the house.

It might be your attic or maybe your basement. It’s where your high school memorabilia is stored with items that have great sentimental value to you and bring back many fond memories. Now, there is a special place to display some of these treasured pieces… “Memory Lane”.

In honor of the Nazareth High School we will proudly recognize the “Tradition of Nazareth” by displaying an “Alumni Memorabilia Collection” featuring items representing the deep history of our school. 

To help make this collection a true showcase, we are looking for all kinds of items to put on display. We ask that you take a few moments to search through your storage boxes for items you are willing to share with others.

Among items being sought for the “Alumni Memorabilia Collection” are:

•   Favorite photos

•   Newspaper clippings

•   Stat sheets

•   Personal letters, narratives, remembrances

•   Pennants

•   Team Poster

•   Apparel, such as Team Jackets, sweatshirts, t-shirts or singlet.

•   Letters / correspondence

•   High School Program

•   Yearbook

•   Promotional flyers

•   Beanies, hats and pins

•   Souvenirs from past Wrestling events.

•   Sports memorabilia

•   Personal letters, narratives, remembrances

•   Any other treasures that will help us share the history of Nazareth High School

You can be part of making this effort to, “bring back the past” a reality. We would welcome the opportunity to include your Blue Eagles memorabilia in this display.  All memorabilia will be returned immediately following the match.

Memorabilia drop off time 3:30pm-5:30pm.  Volunteers Welcomed.
