TBS played both sides of the coin at New York Comic-Con on Friday. First
came laughs in the form of Samantha Bee & Jason Jones, the creative
force behind the new late-night show Full Frontal with Samantha Bee and the new scripted comedy The Detour. Then things got serious with a screening of TBS's first-ever police procedural comedy, Angie Tribeca,
followed by a powerful, in-depth panel session with Rashida Jones and
the cast. Comedy power couple Samantha Bee and Jason Jones sat down
with Mo Rocca and a few audience members for an intimate fireside chat,
during which they covered topics ranging from marriage to parenting to
having not one but two shows on the same network. Samantha Bee is set to
host Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, starting this January. And Jason Jones will star in The Detour, a new scripted comedy based on his and Bee's family adventures.
