Steve Meilinger,
the Bethlehem native who went on to play for Bear Bryant at the
University of Kentucky and for Vince Lombardi with Green Bay in the NFL,
died Monday in Lexington, Ky., after a battle with cancer. A family
member confirmed the news. He was 84.
