No surprise. Fox has picked up the comedy series New Girl for a fifth season. The series will celebrate its landmark 100th episode during the upcoming 2015-2016 season. New Girl
stars Emmy Award- and Golden Globe-nominated actress Zooey Deschanel as
a smart, spirited and single young woman who navigates her way through
the highs and lows of modern friendship and romance, alongside her four
male roommates (Jake Johnson, Emmy Award- and Golden Globe-nominated Max
Greenfield, Lamorne Morris, Damon Wayans, Jr.) and her beautiful best
friend (Hannah Simone). No word yet on its Tuesday neighbor The Mindy
Project. That series has yet to be renewed for a fourth season and it
just completed its third season last Tuesday.
