Also, before too much time has passed, I again would like to thank
both the Stellar "Catch A Rising Star: and SportsFest A-Town Throwdown
staffs for their hospitality over the past two weeks.
As usual, it felt more like a family reunion than a work assignment.
I know there's a rivalry between at least some members of the two
staffs, but to me both do a great job and I would miss it if I wasn't
able to spend several nights per summer with each group. I have a lot of
fun all weekend long.
So a shoutout to the Stellar crew featuring Bob Trinkle, Jay Radio,
Bob Wootsick, Matt and Kyle Mosher, Tom Malone, Lisa Franko and the head
honchos, Glen Klein and Tony Stellar.
Also an equal thank you to the SportsFest crew that includes Andy
McGeehin, Matt Wagner, Andrew Treiber, Justin Hutchinson, Randy Atiyeh,
Toomey Anderson and tournament director Chris Lakatosh.
The two staffs may do things in a slightly different way, but it all
works. The end result are two excellent tournaments for the teams and
their fans.
