1.) 'Island' in the sun
"Island Jams in the Alley," 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Bank Street alley, Easton.
The second annual reggae festival will feature performances by DJ ReaLion, Rainbow Fresh and Funktion 11, among others, plus food and drink fare.
Tickets cost $10 (admission includes one free drink). Get your dance on.
2.) Pretty sounds
Influential drummer Bernard "Pretty" Purdie will join Kato and Friends for a free concert 7 to 10 p.m. Tuesday on the Molten Lounge stage inside the Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem, 77 Sands Blvd., Bethlehem. pasands.com
Purdie has been dubbed "The world's most recorded drummer" and is known for his signature "Purdie Shuffle" beat. His recording credits include Aretha Franklin, James Brown and B.B. King, among others.
