FROM KEITH GROLLER

When you're a championship team, you need contributions from everybody. Sometimes the contributions come from people who are not even on the roster.
Freshman pitcher Aubrey Fritzinger, who played on the Trojans unbeaten JV team this spring, spent the last few days helping to prepare the varsity team for Avon Grove fireballer Maggie Balint.
"Aubrey's been throwing batting practice to us almost every day," catcher Jordy Augustus. "Aubrey's a rising star. It has been great she has been able to come up with us and throw to us. It's nice to face good live pitching."
Fritzinger's BP work prepped Parkland well as the Lehigh Valley Conference and District 11 champs weren't intimating by the hard-throwing Balint, a sophomore who was coming off a perfect game with 19 strikeouts in Monday's PIAA opener.
