District 11 will actually be represented in three of today's state softball championship games at Penn State.
You've got Bethlehem Catholic in the 3A final and Minersville in the 1A championship game.
And then working the 4A championship game will be the Lehigh Valley/District 11 umpiring crew of Jim Corpora, Rick Holtzman, Brandon Hibbler and Mike Koch.
Corpora will have home plate, Holtzman first base, Hibbler second base and Koch third base.
The matchup features Lower Dauphin against Souderton and it's slated for a 12:30 start after the Becahi-Springfield contest.
Had Parkland been in the 4A game, the local guys would have not been able to work the game because it is against PIAA policy to have an officiating crew from one district work any game involving a team from the same district.
I am sure our local guys will do a great job.
