This announced late Tuesday by CBS Sports. Former NFL referee Mike Carey will be part of the joint CBS/NFL Network Thursday Night Football telecasts and the NFL on CBS on Sundays.
Carey who retired from the NFL after 24 years as an official and 19 as a referee, will make appearances from the Thursday Night Football game sites, NFL Network studios in Southern California as well as the NFL on CBS headquarters in New York.
