ALLENTOWN, PA - After dropping two consecutive late-inning games, the IronPigs come from behind to grab a Mother's Day win with a four-run eighth inning to top the G-Braves 5-2.
Lehigh Valley jumped out to an early 1-0 with a first-inning single off the Mother's Day-pink bat of 3BMaikel Franco, and held that score until the seventh inning behind a stellar performance by starter RHP Sean O'Sullivan. The native of San Diego spun seven innings of five-hit, two-run baseball, with the only blemish on his outing being a two-run blast by former IronPig Steve Lerud in the seventh inning.
