PAWTUCKET, RI- A four-run seventh inning was not enough to rally the IronPigs past a surging Red Sox team - a team that had scored 15 unanswered runs prior to the seventh - losing for the second straight day on Saturday, this time by a score of 6-4.
After being held scoreless for 11-consevutive innings, the Pigs broke through against LHP Chris Resop with a two-RBI double off the bat of C Koyie Hill in the top of the seventh. Hill would later score on a throwing error by PawSox SS Heiker Meneses attempting to make a tough play in the hole to get OF Tyler Henson moving OF Steve Susdorf - who had walked earlier in the inning -- to third. Susdorf would then score on a groundball off the bat of SS Andres Blanco, but the Pigs failed to score again, coming two-runs shy of completing the rally.
