I am happy for Muhammad Ali Abdur-Rahkman, Eric Marbury and Tannor Reed, but I am a little disappointed that our Lehigh Valley-area kids didn't get a little more love from the all-state voters.
I certainly thought Joe Wiggins of Pocono Mountain West was deserving as were a few others who were submitted by The Morning Call.
But ultimately, it comes down to getting seen, and to do that, you need to advance in the state tournament and other than CCHS no one won more than one PIAA game in our area. Pocono West, as Panthers fans remember, didn't even get to the semis of districts and it's hard to get all-state consideration when you don't get out of your own district.
