Notre Dame's boys basketball team played with its back to the wall over the last month of the season.
That life-on-the-edge experience continued tonight.
Vincent Eze followed up a missed shot on Notre Dame's third attempt at the rim in the final seconds and that putback enabled the Crusaders to edge Catasauqua 60-58 for their second Colonial League championship and first since 2005 before an amped-up crowd of 2,500 at Freedom High School.
