we told you about TV One's Unsung Hollywood, that premieres on Wednesday, but now we have some more news. From revealing portraits of beloved stars of film and television, including feminist film icon Pam Grier and politically charged comic Dick Gregory, to in-depth stories behind the making (and breaking) of influential films and TV series such as Cooley High and What's Happening!!, Unsung Hollywood shines a spotlight on subjects and stories that have rarely or never been told. The What's Happening!! episode of Unsung Hollywood premieres Wednesday, March 12 at 10pm (encores at 1am)! But before that premieres, TV One will air a What's Happening!! two-hour stunt leading in from 8-10pm (encores 11pm-1am) with the first four classic episodes: "The Runaway," "Thee Birthday Present," "When Daddy Comes Marching Home" and "My Three Tons." From 1976 to 1979, the TV sitcom What's Happening!! showcased the life of working class single mother Mabel (Mabel King), her two children Dee (Daniel Spencer), Raj (Ernest Thomas) and neighborhood friends Shirley (Shirley Hemphill), Rerun (Fred Barry) and Dwayne (Haywood Nelson).
