Bangor Area High School's boys basketball laughed off an early 16-point deficit to make what looked to be a lopsided game into one the Slaters almost pulled out at the end.

But a late run by Emmaus, led by senior forward Nate Feiertag, enabled the heavily-favored Green Hornets to escape with a 51-44 victory tonight in the District 11 Class AAAA quarterfinals at Easton Area Middle School.
