FROM KEITH GROLLER
It wasn't the best day for the Lehigh defense on Saturday at Fordham.
The Rams' high-powered offense compiled 630 yards of offense in a 52-34 win that knocked the Mountain Hawks from the ranks of the unbeaten.
Lehigh fell to 4-1 and likely out of the national rankings with its first regular-season road loss since losing at New Hampshire in 2010.
The Mountain Hawks will try to rebound with another trip to New York City on Saturday to play Ivy League foe Columbia.
The Lions are 0-3 after being routed 53-7 by Princeton on Saturday. That game will be televised nationally by the NBC Sports Network.
And then Lehigh returns home to open its Patriot League schedule -- at least the games that count -- on Saturday, Oct. 19 against Georgetown.
As for the Fordham game, there were not many bright spots defensively, but Noah Robb, the sophomore inside linebacker from Central Catholic, was very active again with four tackles -- two solos and two assists. He also had a quarterback hurry.
