FROM KEITH GROLLER
Brandon Bialkowski completed 32 of 50 passes for 320 yards and three touchdowns as Lehigh bounced back from its first loss of the season with a 24-10 win over Columbia in New York on Saturday.
Lee Kurfis tied a Lehigh single-game record with 14 catches for 130 yards and two touchdowns.
Bialkowski now has 2,174 yards passing and 17 touchdowns on the season and Kurfis has 64 catches for 934 yards and six TDs.
It was not a clean performance by the Mountain Hawks by any stretch. They had three turnovers and seven penalties for 50 yads.
But it was good enough to improve to 5-1 with the nonleague portion of the schedule now complete.
The remaining five games will all count in the Patriot League standings, beginning with next Saturday's home game against Georgetown.
Columbia fell to 0-4 this season after losing to Lehigh for the fifth straight time.
Lehigh -- 3 -- 14 -- 0 -- 7 -- 24
Columbia -- 3 -- 0 -- 7 -- 0 -- 10
